If you would like to adopt, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.org. The adoption fee is $400. All dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped current on flea, tick, hw meds and dewormer.
Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in Pleasanton, Texas. Additional photos and videos will be made available to approved adopters Texas adopters will be required to pick up their adopted dogs in Pleasanton.
Snowy is approximately 2 to 3 years old and weighs 13.2 pounds. He is tall and slender. Snowy was found as a stray roaming the streets. He loves other dogs and cats but is shy meeting new people. He is very skittish at first but is opening up more and more every day. He is kind, gentle and loving, just a bit timid due to his past. He needs a patient and loving foster or adopter willing to work with him a bit on trusting and building some confident to be more social. He does walk on leash and harness once he gets to know you but that takes some time, so a fenced yard would be preferred. He is a really good boy, he just needs the chance to blossom and grow into his true potential. He is playful and funny and has a wonderful disposition with other animals. He is great with both young and older dogs. He seems to be fine with cats. No small children at this time but I would not rule it out completely. I think with a little love and time Snowy is going to be a perfect boy. He has a big heart and a beautiful soul to share with a family.
