My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rebar is a fun little pup ready to play at all times! He loves wrestling with his sister and always follows up their playtime with a good, snuggly nap . More than anything, he is looking forward to finding his forever family and spending cozy evenings cuddling with them on the couch or bed .

Rebar is believed to be a Shepherd mix , and his mom was around 35 lbs. He is a social guy who gets along wonderfully with all sized dogs and humans , though his reaction to cats is currently unknown .

Rebar is microchipped and current on all age-appropriate vaccines , and his neuter is scheduled to be completed soon. As a young pup, he will need the continued, patient guidance of his new family to succeed with his potty training and become comfortable with his kennel , and to begin leash training when the time is right.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If he fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
