My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chrome is a fun, loving little girl who is ready to bring joy and energy into your home!

She thoroughly enjoys playing and wrestling with her brother and all her foster siblings, but when it’s time to get some rest, she loves to find the comfiest part of the bed to settle in for a peaceful nap .

As a young pup, she will need the guidance and consistency of her new family to continue mastering her potty and kennel training , and assistance learning the leash when she gets older. This sweet girl gets along wonderfully with all sized dogs and humans , though her reaction to cats is currently unknown .

Chrome is microchipped and current on all age-appropriate vaccines , and her spay is scheduled to be completed soon. Chrome was born at the end of August , and is believed to be a Shepherd mix ; her mom was around 35 pounds.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If she fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
