My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Name: Nova

*Age: 4 years old

*Current Weight: 50lbs

*Rescued from: Georgia

*Adoption fee: $400

Meet Nova!

Rescued from an overcrowded shelter in rural Georgia where her time was running out, Nova recently made the big trip up north in search of a second chance. She's found herself the comfort of a caring foster home and now she dreams of finding a forever one to call her own.

Nova has a big bubbly and sometimes silly personality, with a gentle, kind and loving soul, all wrapped up in a beautiful compact golden frame. From the moment you meet her, it’s clear she’s something special — she radiates kindness, warmth, a soft, loving spirit and a little bit of spunk that makes everyone fall for her instantly.

Nova is the definition of friendly. Adults and kids? Dogs? Cats? Chickens? Nova adores them all. She’s the kind of dog who turns strangers into friends and friends into family. Her easygoing, affectionate nature makes her a wonderful fit for many types of homes, and she loves to have a playful canine companion to romp around with.

Not only is she social, she’s a natural companion dog. Nova is happiest being whereever you are. Nova enjoys long walks and car rides just as much as she loves curling up beside you for a snuggle session. She has a perfect balance of sweetness, calmness, and companionship. She's also a smart girl who is responsive and takes direction well.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loving dog who brings joy and laughter wherever she goes, Nova is ready to brighten your life and to be someone’s perfect companion.

More about this rescue

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
