Osito (Oso) is a one-year-old Shar-Pei mix whose name means “little bear,” and it fits him perfectly. He is 100% a little bear—soft, squishy, and an absolute mush ball at heart.
Osito is almost fully potty trained and truly enjoys his daily walks. He has a gentle, low-energy nature and does great being left out in a space, showing no destructive behaviors. He’s the kind of dog who’s content just hanging out nearby.
He can be a bit nervous when meeting new people, but give him about 10 minutes and he’ll be leaning in for chin scratches, soaking up the love like he’s known you forever.
Osito plays wonderfully with other dogs and is friendly and playful. With cats, he does have some curiosity and will chase them at first, but it’s more playful interest than anything else—and we’re actively working on that with him.
Osito recently had entropion surgery on his eyes, and they are healing beautifully. He’s feeling great and ready to keep blossoming in a loving home.
If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion with a teddy-bear soul, Osito might just be your perfect match
