Hi! My name is Pinhead, but don’t let the name fool you—I’m a total sweetheart. I’ve been with my foster family for three years, and they’ve helped me learn so much about being a loving, loyal companion.
I’m fully housetrained, I love my kennel, and I’m a big fan of cuddling under blankets. If you sit down, there’s a good chance I’ll wiggle my way into your lap or give you my version of gentle love bites (I promise I’m polite about it!). I’m also a big fan of car rides—feeling the wind in my face is one of my happiest moments, though I did try to jump out a drive-thru window once… oops. Harnesses are definitely my safest choice on adventures!
I’m an excited, friendly girl who loves meeting people—women, men, and kids of all ages. Sometimes I bark at strangers walking into the house, but once I know you, I warm up quickly. I get pretty pumped up around big dogs, and sometimes I’m not sure what to think, but I do great with small dogs. I adore running around parks, playing tug-of-war, and shaking paws. I even know how to “wait” for my treats like a good girl.
I’m playful, snuggly, and full of personality—but I’m not perfect, and I want to be honest: I’m a runner if I get the chance, I’ll snack out of the trash or litter box if you don’t keep an eye on things, and I’ll scratch at doors or your leg to get attention. But I promise I’m smart, eager to please, and ready to learn with someone patient and loving. I also have a few quirks—my skin is sensitive during baths, and pate food upsets my stomach—so a little extra care helps me feel my best.
At the end of the day, I just want a family who will love me, give me structure, and enjoy all the joy, goofiness, and affection I have to offer. If you’re looking for a fun, cuddly companion who will be your loyal best friend, I would love to meet you.
My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays
