Hi there! My name is Archer, but my fosters call me Archie! I've been through a lot and my fosters are so hopeful I'll find the perfect family soon! I'm a 5 year old 50lb Heeler mix. I was rescued from Roswell NM in a kill-shelter and made the journey here, but no one knows much more about my past than that.
I have put in a lot of work and come a long way since being with my fosters. At first I didn't know what to think. I was weary of new people and nervous. Now, I am a giant love bug! I love other pups and enjoys playing. My fosters think I would do okay in a home with older children that know to respect my boundaries and take it slow. I have a big personality and may take a second to warm up, like many heelers. But, once I know you, I will be your absolute best bud! I love to roll around in the grass, cuddle on the couch, get pets, and run! I absolutely live to play ball... although I'm a bit ornery and don't always bring it back. I'm house trained, know how to use a dog door, good on leash, and good in the car. I'm a sweet boy, very confident, and love to explore.
