Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luna is an adorable 4-month-old pittie puppy who is ready for a fresh start and a family to grow with. She came to WARL after the resident dog in her home struggled to adjust as she got older. The resident dog did bite Luna and although her family loved her dearly, they made the difficult decision to find Luna a safer environment.
Luna may enjoy dog friends, but she’s still learning how to read other dogs’ cues and settle down during play, so she’s looking for a home without other dogs for now. Luna is crate trained, super food-motivated, and working hard on her housetraining. Luna has also slept successfully outside of her crate. Her previous family describes her personality as amazing, full of zoomies, toy-play, and lots of snuggles once she gets her wiggles out.
Luna has met a few kids but hasn’t lived with them; any children in the home should be older/teens. We have no history of her with cats. If you’re looking for a spirited, playful, and snuggly companion, Luna may be your girl!
If you are interested in adopting Luna, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm. If you are unable to visit her during those times, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org and request an appointment - we may have other times available.
