My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Colby! He's your "Cream-Colored Dream Boy" <3

Colby is a delightful 1-year-old bundle of affectionate, goofy energy! Colby loves to play, explore, and soak up every bit of adventure he can find. He’s a curious, happy pup who approaches life with a big heart and an even bigger smile.

When he’s not busy discovering something new, Colby is all about affection—he gives the sweetest kisses and loves being close to his people. He’s crate trained, up to date on all his vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered, so he’s ready to go home today!

This handsome boy with the striking gold eyes is pure sunshine. He is the definition of a "velcro dog" and is happiest when he’s right by your side, leaning in for a snuggle or a pet. Colby is house-trained, great on a leash (no pulling!), and ready to fill his forever home with endless love and laughter.

Colby is an extremely affectionate, outgoing, and silly boy. His favorite activity is being near his people—he loves to be touching you all the time, whether it's cuddling on the couch or following you around the kitchen. If you're looking for a loyal shadow and a best friend, Colby is your guy.

Colby is highly motivated by toys! Give him a durable toy (squeaky ones are a major plus), and he will happily entertain himself for long stretches.

Manners & Skills:
✅ House-trained: Yep, he's a perfect gentleman indoors.
✅ Leash Manners: He doesn't pull on the leash! He does get a little zigzaggy when exploring new scents, so he'll do best with a short leash while he learns the ropes of polite walking.
✅ Car Rides: Getting into the truck isn't his favorite part of the adventure, but once he's settled in the cab, he enjoys the ride!

⚠️ Training in Progress: Colby doesn't currently know basic commands like "sit" or "down," but he’s a smart, people-oriented dog who is eager to learn with positive reinforcement and treats!
Ideal Forever Home:

Colby thrives on human companionship and would do well in a home where he gets plenty of attention. He's an easygoing and adaptable guy who will fit right into most family environments. He's ready for an owner who is excited to teach him basic commands and give him all the affection his big heart desires.
