My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Little Man (aka Chop) – Your Loyal Sidekick & Adventure King! 🐾👑

Calling all runners, hikers, dog-savvy humans, and active families – Little Man is ready to be your #1 co-pilot, protector, and best buddy for life!

A striking American Pit Bull Terrier mix, Chop is the total package – a snuggler at heart who loves car rides and thrives on being close to his people. Whether he’s curled up beside you or cruising shotgun with the wind in his face, this boy is happiest when he’s by your side.

Chop is no rookie – he’s already got the basics down:
✅ "Place"
✅ "Sit"
✅ "Let’s Go"
✅ "Here"
✅ Crate trained & leash trained
✅ A+ recall – say the word and he’s right there

He’s a hard-working boy with the heart of a hero – always watching, always learning, and happiest when he’s got a job to do. Whether it’s helping around the yard, going on a trail run, or riding shotgun in the car, Little Man is in his element when he’s part of the action.

Need a buddy for your morning run? He’s at the door before you grab your shoes.
Need a car companion? Shotgun is already taken.
Have a task? He’s two steps ahead of you.

Chop is aware and intuitive – he picks up on cues quickly and knows when you want a command in place. By watching how his pack reacts, he follows right along, especially if treats are involved. He prefers to have a blanket in his kennel to stay cozy—otherwise, he’ll dig at the plastic to make himself comfortable. When guests come over and you say "Bed," he heads straight to his kennel without hesitation.

He enjoys being outside, especially when there’s something to sniff or watch—but more than anything, Chop wants to be where you are. His favorite place will always be right by your side.

He’s looking for:
🏡 A home with a yard
🐶 A dog sibling to run and wrestle with
👨‍👩‍👧 An active family (older kids preferred)
🚫 No apartments or mobile homes – he needs room to move!

Little Man aka Chop is loyal, affectionate, and always up for an adventure. If you’re ready for a snuggly, ride-or-die companion who will make every day better — this is your guy.

He’s ready to roll. Are you? 🐕💨💙AARF Houston transports to approved adopters outside of Texas.
