My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Millie – Your New Ride-or-Die, Fetch-Obsessed, Nap-Loving Bestie! 🎾🐶

Looking for the total package? Smart, sweet, loyal, and just the right amount of goofy? Well, hi there – I’m Millie, and I’ve got main character energy written all over me.

I’m a whip-smart gal (my foster mom says I pick things up faster than you can say “good girl!”). I’m fully house trained, crate trained, and leash trained – basically, I’m nailing this whole “perfect dog” thing. ✅

When I’m not busy playing fetch with my foster dad (my toy collection is chef’s kiss), you’ll find me glued to your side – whether you’re chilling on the couch, working at your desk, or taking that well-earned nap. I’m your built-in snuggle buddy, belly rub enthusiast, and #1 fan.

Want to really win my heart? Just scratch my belly – I’ll even dramatically flop over to let you know where the magic should happen. No shame in my belly rub game.

I’d love a home with another doggy BFF to wrestle and romp with – but if it’s just us, that’s cool too. Just know I’ll be your loyal shadow, always ready for playtime or cuddle time.

I get along great with other dogs and kiddos (I’m kind of the cool older cousin type). I haven’t met any cats yet, so the jury’s still out on that one. With my Cattle Dog roots, I’m not one for apartment or mobile home life – I need space to thrive and love a home where I can stretch my legs and my heart.

So, if you’re looking for a loyal, loving, happy-go-lucky girl to complete your pack, say hello to Miss Millie. Let’s make forever happen! ❤️AARF Houston transports to approved adopters outside of Texas.
