My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Nikita – Your Sunshine in Fur Form! ☀️
Nikita is a joyful, spirited pup who’s ready to bring love and laughter into her forever home! Though her story began on the streets of Houston, this resilient girl hasn’t let her rough start dim her sparkle. She was found wandering alone and in need of care, but thanks to the love, dedication, and support of her foster group, Nikita was brought back to health and given a second chance at life.
Since joining her foster group three years ago, Nikita has truly blossomed into a happy, playful, and affectionate companion. Despite thriving in foster care, she has not received a single adoption application — something we hope to change. We are holding onto hope that 2026 will be the year Nikita finally finds the forever home she so deeply deserves.
About Nikita:
🐶 Personality: Energetic, sweet-natured, and full of love
🎾 Favorite Activities: Splashing in her kiddie pool, sunbathing like a queen, and curling up on the couch for cuddle time
🌞 Special Skills: Turning any patch of sun into her personal spa and making everyone she meets smile
Whether she’s romping around the yard or snuggling in for a movie night, Nikita brings joy wherever she goes. She balances playtime with quiet moments beautifully and would thrive in a home where she’s both active and adored.
Nikita is looking for a family who will:
💛 Give her plenty of love and belly rubs
🌳 Let her enjoy the outdoors (especially sunny spots!)
🛋️ Share their couch — and their heart
If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion who’s overcome the odds and is ready for a fresh start, Nikita is your girl. She’s waited patiently, and now she’s more than ready for her happy ending.
📍 Currently being fostered and thriving — and hoping 2026 is her year
