My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stormy – Your Personal Splash Zone & Snuggle Security System 🌩🐾💦

Hi! I’m Stormy—equal parts cuddlebug, water enthusiast, and professional fun-haver. Despite my dramatic name, I’m mostly sunshine… unless there’s a puddle nearby. Then all bets are off.

I’m a lap-loving, bubble-bath-admiring, mud-rolling kind of girl who believes life is better when you’re a little wet and very loved. Got a lap? That’s my seat. Got a hose, towel, or kiddie pool? Congratulations—we’re best friends now. 🛁💧

My days are spent wrestling and romping with my doggy foster siblings, and my evenings are dedicated to my other favorite job: becoming a 40-lb living weighted blanket. I thrive with other dogs and absolutely need a canine sidekick—solo life just isn’t my thing. I’m a social butterfly with fur.

Let’s talk lifestyle compatibility. I’m not cut out for apartment living—I’ve got zoomies to unleash and territory to patrol. I’m also happiest in a calm, structured home without small children. Chaos isn’t my vibe, but stability? Yes please.

I’m deeply loyal and take my role as “security pup” very seriously. New people—especially men—need proper introductions and a little patience. I warm up at my own pace, but once you’re in? You’re family forever.

My dream home? An active, dog-savvy woman (or couple), another playful pup, a yard, and a human who doesn’t mind sharing space with a water-loving shadow who occasionally turns into a snuggly storm cloud.

If you’re ready for laughter, loyalty, splashes, and snuggles…
I’m Stormy—and I’m ready to make waves with you. ☀️🌧️❤️AARF Houston transports to approved adopters outside of Texas.
