My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi hooman! I’m Ginger, a fun-loving American Bulldog mix who’s been searching for my forever home for over 2½ years. I’ve got lots of energy and love to play with my foster siblings. I’ve been with my current foster family since April 2024 and even starred twice on “Rescues in Action” – I guess they liked my good looks!

I’ve been adopted before, but things didn’t quite work out. I’m very protective of my people, which can make it hard for me to make new friends (both human and dog). Because of this, I need a confident, experienced adopter who can continue my training and help me manage my excitement.

I’m smart, mostly housebroken, and crate-trained. I sit on command, walk well on leash, and take treats gently (unlike my foster brothers – no manners!). I love cuddling, watching TV, and bringing toys to bed with me. I just need time and patience to warm up to new people.

If you work from home or have lots of time to spend with a loyal girl like me, I promise to love you furever.

My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives.

More about this rescue

FLUFF Animal Rescue- established to save the lives of animals. Through community awareness, public assistance, education and rescue-to-rehome, we aim to address and confront animal over-population and shelter over-crowding. We believe that together, we CAN save them all. We are a 501c3 not-for-profit public charity established in January 2016. We are fully funded through generous contributions and support from our donors and friends like you who care about the needs of homeless animals. We provide homes to the homeless, food for the hungry, health and medical care to those who are injured or sick, and relieve shelters of serious over-crowding by rescuing to rehome animals who may not have survived the shelter environment. Thank you for caring...thank you for your support!
