My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Whimsy and Widget!

First and foremost, we would like to get the obvious out of the way. Widget is not a dog, he is a tiny wizard. He is a mystical creature. He is sentient dryer lint. He is a gremlin, a creature, maybe a dwarf, we don't know. He's just a baby at about a year old and weighs a whole entire 5.5lbs. He's like a cryptid in the fact that it's almost impossible to photograph him without him being blurry, out of focus, or otherwise indecipherable.

Whimsy? Whimsy is beautiful gorgeous perfect. She's about four years old and weighs just under 14lbs. She's an expert at striking a pose and sitting pretty. Both are terrier mixes of some kind (if we HAD to concede and call Widget a dog...I guess...) They came from the same home and we would love for them to go to their forever home together so we'll be prioritizing people that apply for both.

Widget is the extrovert of the pair. He'll hop on your legs, paw at you for attention, do a happy tippy tappy toe dance, spin in place, etc. Whimsy is a bit more demure, a bit on the shyer side, but is so sweet she'll give you cavities. Both are great on a leash but of course are prone to zoomy spurts of chaos (Widget especially). Widget likes toys, Whimsy prefers snuggles.

Both do well with other dogs and with cats but a multidog household may be too much for Whimsy if Widget isn't with her. Kids 8+ should be fine as long as they go slow with Whimsy. They will both need lots of exercise and regular grooming (especially Widget because what in the world is going on there?)
