At 10 years old and 36 lbs of pure sweetness, Missy is a senior girl hoping for the loving, safe & stable home she’s always deserved.
She’s gentle, loyal, and happiest when she’s close to someone who cares. All she needs now is a soft bed, kind words, and a family who believes every dog—no matter their age—deserves a beautiful second chance.
Missy tested positive for heartworms, but don’t let that worry you—she is already undergoing treatment, which is very common and has an excellent recovery rate. She’s handling everything like the brave, resilient girl she is, and she’ll be fully healthy before you know it.
We believe Missy may be a unique little Chihuahua–Shepherd blend. Whatever her mix may be, she is a perfect medium-size dog who is fully grown, gentle, and so ready to pour her heart into her forever family.
Missy is currently in a loving foster home, patiently waiting for someone to give her the next, best chapter she so deeply deserves.

I am now a 501 c3 nonprofit. I am foster based and donation-based rescue. I live in Canyon Lake Tx, and this area is a dumping ground for animals, I specialize with hoarding families, who contact me through my two face book pages, I see dogs that deserve better in Comal County public. and Comal County cats all over the place. I also network and share several adoptable pets on the pages to rehome. I prevent animals from going to high kill shelters. I was a vet tech for twenty years and have experience with animals.
