Jack is a loveable guy. He sometimes thinks he is a lap dog. Jack is great with older kids and gentle people. Unfortunately, he is reactive to other dogs and babies/small children when in close proximity. He is pretty good at ignoring them if they ignore him. He loves to play outside, he loves to run, and he loves being loved. Jack is pretty good on a leash and knows some basic commands.
Due to our small living space, limited yard, and the neighbor aggressive dog, we have made the painful decision to rehome him. This other dog is the reason Jack is scared, as the other dog got loose and attacked Jack three different occasions within a 6 week time span during when Jack was 1. He lost half an ear from these attacks. This is also a huge reason why we have found it difficult to find a groomer that can tend to his needs appropriately and within budget.
Please know we love Jack and want him to be able to thrive in a better environment. One that we arent able to provide now.
