My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Cleo, is it time to play?

I am a very loving girl! I love playing outside and with my people. My favorite game is keep away, but I will drop it when you tell me to. I am house trained and I will even tell you when I need to go potty! I also love going on walks and camping. I bark at strangers when the doorbell rings and when they come in my house, but after I smell them and my owner introduces us, I'm ok. I do need a little time.

General Socialization Notes:
I am a smart girl and love to learn. I can be a little shy meeting new people but with treats and a little time, I will warm up and you become my best friend. I know how to sit and lay down, but usually a treat is involved. I am crate trained.

Does Cleo like other animals?
I live with another dog right now, but need time to adjust to new dogs with proper socialization. I have never been to dog parks and I have never lived with cats, so I don't know how I would do with cats.

Does Cleo like children?
I LOVE CHILDREN! They love to play just like me!

Favorite Toys:
I love all kinds of toys, just don't get me ones that are stringy because I will shred it to pieces and eat the strings which is bad for my tummy. My favorite is cow bones with the filling.

Ideal Forever Home:
My perfect forever home would be a family with a yard or an active person that will take me on hikes and camping because I need to be active to stay healthy. I do need a human that understands that I can be shy, at first, and need a little time to warm up. I would also do okay in a home as an only dog.
