Jingles is a young, energetic pup who found his way to ACCT Philly as a stray after being discovered in North Philadelphia. Despite an uncertain start, he’s shown himself to be a happy, social dog who is ready to embrace whatever comes next.
This 2-year-old mixed breed boy is very friendly, playful, and full of personality. Jingles enjoys interacting with people, and brings a lot of enthusiasm to his walks and playtime. He’s an active guy who may pull on leash and get a little bouncy when he’s excited, but it’s all in the spirit of fun and affection. With some structure and continued guidance, Jingles has all the makings of a fantastic companion for an active home.

Per short term foster end of January:
Jingles is a very handsome young dog. He is probably between 1 and 2. He is very energetic. He would make a great running partner! His coat feels like velvet. He has one gorgeous blue eye (heterochromia) and one soulful brown eye making him very unique. He spent a 3 day temporary foster with me during the recent snow storm as Doggie Style Pets, Somers Point, NJ , where he is currently located didn't know if the store would be open and if their hours would be abbreviated. He is there through a partnership with ACCT Philly. I learned he is housebroken and will go in a crate but does not love it. I think he can be fairly easily crate trained as he slept in one all 3 nights here. He loves chew toys and carrying around stuffies. One of the rare dogs I've met, who does not destroy them. 😍 Like any young dog, he needs a little training, but I found him to understand the word no and be easily redirected. He would love a fenced in yard to run around in and he definitely enjoys long walks or runs. He is so sweet and lovable. He is also very smart. I was impressed at how quickly he would finish his food puzzle and how fast he learned the routine here. What surprised me the most was how much he hated the snow. He didn't even want to go out the door. He would do great with an active family with older children.
