My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🖤 Meet Soot – A Cozy Shadow Full of Love ✨

Say hello to Soot, a sleek black cat with a calm, affectionate personality. This gentle companion loves cozy spots, quiet moments, and curling up near their favorite humans for some well-earned cuddles.

Though calm and serene, Soot also enjoys bursts of play — chasing toys, exploring new corners, and showing off their curious, mischievous side. Their soft purrs and gentle presence make any home feel warm and welcoming.

Soot is neutered/spayed, vaccinated, litter trained, and ready to find a forever home where they can share love, comfort, and companionship. 🏡

If you’re looking for a devoted, elegant companion who’s both playful and peaceful, Soot is ready to be your perfect match. 🖤

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
