My name is Bitty which I’m sure is short for BEAUTIFUL! I’ve had a bit of a rough patch lately. I’ve been in foster care for 8 months now and I would sure like a forever home with a sunny window or two. I would do well in a calm house where someone wants to give me lots of attention. I love being brushed, and I can carry on a conversation. I’ve had some trauma at some point in my past, but I give clear signals about my boundaries. I’m looking for people who understand my tortie nature. I keep myself very clean, and my litter habits are excellent. I might accept another cat with a slow introduction. I’m not aggressive, just a little nervous. Are you the right person for me?

A meet and greet will be arranged with the pet's foster parent and your family.

Sign Adoption Contract

After meeting the pet, fill out our Adoption Agreement if you wish to proceed with the adoption: www.arrcolorado.org

5.
Pay Fee

6.
Take the Pet Home

After we receive your completed Adoption Agreement and you have paid your adoption fee, your new pet may go home with you.

A home visit will be coordinated within one week of adoption.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies pulls abandoned dogs and cats from shelters and places them in loving foster homes until their forever homes are found. Our philosophy is that each pet deserves a loving home and a long, healthy, happy life. We do everything in our power to ensure pets receive the training, veterinary care, and loving attention needed.

Our Cat Casita in Fairplay, CO houses adoptable cats in a cage-free cat "playroom" - visitors are welcome to stop by and meet our cats anytime during open hours. The Cat Casita is located downstairs at High Paw Pet Supply, 503 Hwy. 285, Fairplay, CO (719) 836-4909.

Our Just Cats "Cat Cottage" is located in Denver at 7150 Leetsdale Drive, Denver, 80224 where adoptable cats enjoy a cage-free adoption room. Call 720-235-2724.
