Willie is a neutered, 3 year old Standard Poodle mix who is a playful, sweet boy. He has transitioned very well into his foster home and away from a life of living outside full-time. He loves to snuggle up on the couch and get endless pets. He thinks the bed is super fun and exciting and will definitely cuddle up to you. He will let you know he is happy and cozy by groaning often during his pets, naps and stretches! He is working well on his leash skills and only pulls for the first couple minutes from excitement and then does very well. He will bark when coming across another dog on a walk but does enjoy meeting other dogs and is super friendly. He enjoys playing with his foster sister often. He also barks when someone is at the door but greets them very well, occasionally will jump up on his favourite people for a hug but does well when told to stay down. Willie is fully house trained he will let you know he needs to go out and is learning to ring bells to ask. He is crate trained and will settle in there nicely but can also be left alone at home and has not shown any destructive behaviour- just sleeps and waits for his people to return! Willie really is such a sweet loving dog, and is adjusting amazingly to his new indoor life not being afraid of anything and always happy ready for what's next. He loves to run so would be a very good active dog for the right family!
