59850985LOVELY- HW+Terrier, Pit Bull/Mix, Brindle/Brindle, Medium, 40.20 pound Female 2 years old
At Arlington Animal Services, every dog is individually evaluated by multiple members of our experienced team. When a dog is placed into our adoption program, it means they have shown friendly behavior toward people and other dogs, and no negative behaviors have been observed in our shelter environment.
If you already have a dog at home, we encourage you to bring them to the shelter for an official meet-and-greet to help ensure a smooth and happy introduction. A Quick Note About My Heartworm Status
I’ve tested positive for heartworms, but don’t let that scare you! Heartworms are treatable, and with the right care (which our team is happy to talk to you about low cost treatment options in our area), I can go on to live a long, happy, and healthy life.
Many wonderful dogs like me test positive for heartworms through no fault of our own and we just need a little extra TLC and some time to heal. The most important thing I need right now is a loving home where I can rest, recover, and feel safe.
Please don’t let the word heartworm make you pass me by, I have so much love to give, and I promise I’ll make every bit of the journey worth it.
