My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Tonka, a charming young pug with a heart of gold and a playful spirit! Born on April 23, 2024, this sweet boy weighs a sturdy 21.2 pounds and is ready to find his perfect forever home.
Tonka's previous owner was a responsible breeder who ensured he, along with his last two puppies, Tootsie and Tatum, would go to loving homes fully vetted and well-adjusted. And well-adjusted he is!
Tonka is incredibly friendly and social, thriving on interaction and affection. He has never met a stranger and gets along famously with everyone he meets. But the real way to his heart is through playtime! Tonka adores toys and lights up at the opportunity for a good game. His lively enthusiasm is infectious, and he promises to fill your home with laughter and joy.
Whether he's chasing a squeaky ball or snuggling up for a cozy nap after a long play session, Tonka's delightful personality shines through. He is looking for a family who will cherish his playful nature and shower him with the love and attention he so deserves.
If you're ready for a lifetime of happy tail wags, playful pounces, and endless cuddles, Tonka is the perfect pug for you!

You can apply for Tonka at www.adoggie4you.org.  His adoption fee is $350.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested

All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella, heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.

Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.
