Dolly was found stray by a kind citizen who is fostering her until adopted since her owners did not surface. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She tested positive for heartworms on 12/10 and has started the heartworm treatment - which is one shot of Proheart12 and 30 days of an oral antibiotic. She will be retested in 1 year (this is covered by LHS). The Proheart12 also serves as a full year of heartworm prevention - added savings to an adopter.
She is 1 year old and weights 8 lbs.
Here's what her foster family said:
Dolly is really smart, she has learned very quickly how to walk on leash and she housebroken. She is very, very cuddle, seems very happy to sit in your lap. She is great with other dogs and kids of all shapes and sizes. She has not been around cats but can be cat tested if needed - we do think she would do well with cats based on her personality.
Adoption fee is $275. Please apply online if you're interested in meeting her. Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society
