My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Courtesy post: Meet Eva, a lovable 5-year-old blue pittie! She’s a total sweetheart who enjoys going on walks, playing with her toys, and snuggling up with her favorite humans. Eva is incredibly smart and loves using her brain. She enjoys training sessions, puzzle toys, and her all-time favorite game—finding a hidden toy somewhere in the house. She’s also mastered “leave it” and will patiently sit and wait until she’s told she can take her treat. Eva truly lives to please and absolutely soaks up affection. She is fully housebroken and does beautifully with cats. On leash, Eva can get a little excitable when she sees other dogs, but she responds well to redirection and guidance. With continued structure and reassurance, she’ll keep making great progress. She would do well in a home with adults and older children who can appreciate her playful, affectionate nature. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily curl up next to you after a day of fun, Eva might be your perfect match!December 3, 2025, 3:41 pm

More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!
