Hello everyone! My name is Nuni (it means ‘snowy’ in Korean) and I’m ready to find my forever home! I’m an incredibly loving girl. When we first meet, I’ll happily give you head butts to make sure you are paying attention to me. Once you are petting me you’ll never want to stop because I’ll just continue to purr contentedly the whole time. I’d be happy as the only pet in the home soaking up all the attention, but I’ve lived with other animals before and would be happy to have some company as well. More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
