Shorty came to us as an owner surrender after being given as a gift to someone who simply couldn’t keep up with him. We were told he was “too much to handle”… but the moment he arrived, we realized Shorty is actually the calmest, sweetest little cupcake you’ll ever meet.
This little guy is pure lap-dog perfection — gentle, docile, quiet, and happiest when he’s curled up next to his person. He loves being held, loves affection, and has the softest, most soulful eyes that tell you he just wants to be loved.
Shorty does have a small cherry eye, but it doesn’t cause him any discomfort and doesn’t affect his health. If an adopter chooses, it can be easily corrected by a vet — but it’s purely cosmetic. It certainly doesn’t take away from his adorable face!
