Pepper is a very funny kitten with lots of personality. She likes to play chase with her cat friends and loves to play with cat springs!
Pepper had a challenging start in life and was rescued with a colony of cats from a car garage. She is still slightly hesitant around hands unless she initiates being touched, which she does often! She is a lap cat and loves to be petted, leaning in with big purrs! Check out the third picture - she was taking a nap with me!
She does not like to be picked up and carried around. But will jump up and sit on your lap; it's the picking-up action with hands that scares her.
She really enjoys playing with her foster siblings and would love to be adopted with Chive, Clove, or Jasmine.
Pepper would do best in a home without little children. A calm dog would be ok.
You might notice that her right eye looks slightly closed; her third eyelid is attached in a way that it's a bit more closed. This is a cosmetic issue that can be fixed, but does not need to be.
Pepper is FeLV/FIV negative, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. She is available for her forever home.
