Wifwolf: (pronounced whiff-wolf) Named for her grey fur, which was very fluffy when she was newly rescued, `wifwolf` is the female equivalent of `wolfman`, which was another possible name for her before determining that she was a girl! She was rescued along with her five siblings after being abandoned at a park, where, despite their harsh circumstances, the very young kittens would run around playing with children who came to the playground! The first time the rescuer saw Wifwolf, she was lying on her side in the grass, the sun sparkling in a halo of her own fluffy fur, batting lazily at her sister Jayna`s tail, while Jayna inspected a fallen acorn.
Wifwolf was /born/ to be a lap cat. If you even look at her, she will come over, tail held high in greeting, just to be pet. She loves sitting on laps or leaning against your side, and has some of the softest fur you can find on a cat. If you`re looking for a cuddly companion who loves attention, you`re looking for Wifwolf!

The mission of One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is to help abandoned, neglected, abused and unwanted pets by partnering with shelters, rescue groups and the community to facilitate adoption of these animals into permanent and loving homes.
Our goal is to save one life at a time by promoting local animal shelter adoptions and raising awareness in our community about responsible pet ownership. We strive to highlight the importance of spaying or neutering pets which will aid in the reduction of overpopulation. We believe that appropriate and positive reinforcement training and socialization of these shelter animals will lead to well-adjusted family pets, thereby decreasing the number of abandoned animals in shelters. Our dream is that one day all the shelters will be empty because every pet will have a home.
