If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Ringo! A one-year-old, goofy, loyal boy found abandoned in a park in April. I'm not a rescue. I just wanted to make sure he was well-trained and setup for a great life. He's ready for you! We began clicker training and he is doing well. He's neutered, vaccinated, great with big/med dogs, loves people, and is incredibly affectionate. He's athletic, smart, very trainable, and learns fast. He does best with calm leadership and consistent exercise. Not suitable for cats; better for older kids due to jumping. He should be crated when left home alone and needs durable chew toys and bones. I'll show adopters all his commands, his large indoor crate is included. Contract requires he come back to me if it doesn't work out.
The Great: no food aggression, not dominant, fantastic with dogs, loves people.
The Good: improving crate skills, learning to settle, very trainable, solid click-training foundation.
The Bad: still jumps, reactive to excited dogs on leash, some separation anxiety
