--FOSTER PUPDATE-- Lenti A177786 48 lb. spayed female, approx 1 year old
-Lenti is a curious, sweet, goofy girl still learning about the world. She’s all puppy—full of silly energy, somersaults, bounce moves, random fears of stuffed animals and puffy jackets, and a quirky praying-mantis play style. She keeps us laughing and on our toes. -She loves people and wants to be close—she’s a cuddly, velcro-style dog who’ll quickly become your shadow. She’s playful, athletic, and always ready for fun. She’s handling new experiences well, loves wearing clothes, and sits nicely for her harness and leash. -She gets along really well with and has met many other dogs and enjoys playing. She loves our dog Bean and chooses to sit ON him often. Out on walks she can get scared when she sees another dog, but once she sees my dog Bean meet them, she is excited to meet them too. -She is crate trained, knows sit and stay, and comes when called. -She’s currently working on becoming fully potty trained, keeping her paws on the ground, increasing her socialization, becoming desensitized to cats, learning “paw/shake” and “lay,” not pulling on the leash, reducing begging, and sharing toys. -She is good with dogs and loves people, does well with older kids (10+) due to her tendency to jump, and is currently in training with cats—she finds them confusing, showing more fear than any aggression or prey drive. -She can get a bit anxious when left alone and has proven herself quite the little crate escape artist, but having another dog around truly helps her relax. When she’s with my dog Bean, she settles beautifully and is much more comfortable being left alone. -Treat motivated and easy to train. She’s excited and interested in everything. -She walks nicely in busy areas and stores with people around; it’s mainly dog sightings that get her excited. -We also had a ton of people over recently and she was so good, and was a bit shy but happy to greet them all. -An ideal home would be a home with another friendly dog or someone home often would be best. She’s a great match for someone who doesn’t mind continuing training, wants a fun, affectionate, silly athletic young dog who’s eager to learn and loves being part of everything!
