Sir John is a gentleman, of that there is no doubt! This handsome shepherd came to us as part of a neglect case with a badly injured leg. Since becoming a “tri-pawd”, he has done very well, walking confidently and easily on a leash and adjusting beautifully. His time recovering in a foster home showed us that he is a true companion canine who would do best in a home where his people are mostly home or can take him along. He is clever and polite, loves gentle play, and might do well with another canine companion given slow introductions--though kitties are a no-go for this boy. Sir John is looking for someone to love and give him plenty of neck scratches (especially that spot he can no longer reach) and bacon treats, which he takes very gently.
