Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bruna, a chocolate Labrador mix with a heart full of sweetness and a spirit that just needs a little room to bloom. Shelter life is overwhelming for this gentle girl, but during a quiet one-on-one session with a volunteer, Bruna showed exactly who she really is: a shy lovebug who melts the moment she feels safe.Once she realized she could trust her new friend, Bruna backed her little booty right into their lap—politely but very clearly requesting her new favorite thing in the world: butt scratches. And once they started? She kept asking for more. That’s her love language.
Bruna’s skin shows signs of past neglect, likely from fleas, but with time, care, and prevention, her coat will be shining again soon. What won’t change is her gentle nature, her desire for comfort, and her belief that butt scratches make everything better.
If you’re looking for a soft, tender soul who just needs someone to take a chance on her, Bruna is waiting. Give her safety, give her love—and she’ll give you her whole heart.
Bruna has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match! Check out her playgroup video here:
