My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bruce ! He has a heart full of love and a gentle spirit. Though he arrived at the shelter shy and unsure, he quickly showed his true colors by seeking out human affection the moment he felt safe.

These days, Bruce can often be found snoozing upside down on his dog bed, totally relaxed, or happily romping around outside with his canine buddies. Despite his age, he still enjoys light play and the company of other dogs.

Bruce is currently working with a dedicated volunteer to build his confidence through positive training. He’s learning that the world isn’t so scary and that he can approach new experiences with ease—skills that will help him thrive in his future home.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate senior who just wants a soft place to land and someone to love, Bruce is ready to be your loyal companion.
