My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bobbi is a shy little kitten with a heart that’s still learning how safe and loving the world can be. She’s making steady progress in building her confidence, but she’ll need a patient family who understands that trust takes time.
While she may hide around people or when things feel overwhelming, Bobbi’s curiosity shines through once she has a quiet moment to herself. Give her a little space, and she’ll start to explore and show glimpses of the playful, affectionate kitty she’s becoming.

Bobbi feels most secure with another confident adult cat or kitten by her side. Having a feline friend to look up to truly helps her come out of her shell, and for this reason, a companion cat at home is strongly recommended.

She’s had exposure to large dogs, young kids, and other cats, and although she may stay cautious around them, she adjusts with time and a predictable environment. She isn’t a fan of being held just yet, but she’s learning new things every day.

Bobbi is looking for a calm, understanding household that can offer patience, reassurance, and a confident cat companion to help guide her. If you’re willing to give her the time she needs, she’ll reward you with the quiet, gentle love of a cat who truly blooms under kindness.

Bobbi is ready for her safe place—and maybe that’s with you.

I’m currently in a loving foster home offsite! Please contact my foster parent, Emma, at Emmaalynn00@gmail.com to inquire about me or set up a visit! Please allow up to 24 hours for my foster parent to respond.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1949, Humane Society of the Pikes Region is the largest animal welfare group for homeless and abused animals in Southern Colorado, comprising of two campuses – one in Colorado Springs and one in Pueblo – as well as animal control offices in Centennial and Douglas County. HSPPR is a local, independent nonprofit not affiliated with national organizations such as ASPCA or Humane Society of the United States and relies on donations to fund its work. Passionate and dedicated staff rescue and care for animals in distress, provide medical care for abused and injured animals, reunite lost pets with their owners, find loving homes for homeless animals, and investigate animal cruelty and enforce animal ordinances.

As an open admission shelter, HSPPR helps all animals in need – no animal is turned away. That’s more than 26,000 animals a year affected by the mission. HSPPR works every day to end the euthanasia of unwanted animals through extensive community outreach and innovative programs. You can help by encouraging friends and families to adopt a homeless pet, volunteering your time or supporting our life-saving programs by making a donation. We are better together.
