Zinko grew up in my backyard with his siblings. For the past couple of months, I’ve been caring for him — feeding him, socializing him, and helping him understand that people are safe. Watching him slowly open up, get stronger, and trust more has been such a sweet experience.
His brother and sister have already left for their new homes, and now Zinko is ready for his next chapter.
