My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We fostered Copper when he was 6 months old through Roice-Hurst and foster failed. His past before us is unknown, he was found wandering the streets in Delta. He came to us afraid of everything...people, walking on a leash, riding in the car...and we did him a disservice by not socializing him more. I have been working with a trainer on some of his behavioral issues and he is eager to learn and highly food motivated.

Copper has lived in peace with our other 2 dogs for the last two years. He had started to show what we believe is jealous aggression towards our whippet which culminated in a nasty fight that injured the whippet. For this reason, we are seeking to rehome him with an owner where he can be an only dog. He shows no aggression towards people, although he does distrust them initially.

Copper is high energy and needs a fenced in yard. He is kennel trained but never stays in for longer than 3 hours. He sleeps alone in a bedroom behind a baby gate & loves bedtime.
