This is my boy cooper. I love this dog more than I could ever explain and it pains me that I’ve gotten to this point. Cooper needs a new home where he will have more attention and the same love I have given him for the last 5 years. I rescued cooper in December of 2019 and have given him everything I can. Last year he had surgery for both rear ACL’s (Bilateral TPLO) by an amazing surgeon and he has recovered perfectly. He’s back to running around and playing fetch at 95% of what he used to be.
The not so good. He’s very dog aggressive and has shown some aggressive behavior with very young children. He’s never attacked a person, but has growled at kids younger than 5. He has very bad skin allergies and requires cytopoint injections monthly to remain comfortable.
Rehoming because I’m starting a family and I can’t risk the dog being around my children. He’s a fantastic dog, knows all the commands, and he’s been my partner for years and my heart breaks knowing I can’t keep him around.
