Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Georgia is a quiet petite beauty. Her coat is very short and sleek giving it a unique color hue. She is an observer, more on the shy side than outgoing or confident. Once you “pass her test” you’ll find her rubbing on your legs, or rolling over for chin and chest scratching. Georgia has a very sweet personality and almost “silent” purr. Her favorite toy is a furry stuffed small dog toy. She’s not much into loud noises or quick movements (yet). Gentle playtime and quiet dogs are more her thing. So if your home is on the calmer side and you are looking for an “easy keeper” who likes to watch the world go by, Georgia is your gal. (She is a good litter box and cardboard scratcher user too!).
*Come meet me this Saturday (12.13.25) at the Fort Collins PetSmart from 10am-2pm! This event is first come, first served so we recommend arriving early if you have a specific furry friend in mind! This event operates on a number system so upon arrival make sure to get your number and we will call numbers up in groups! Please note in order to receive a number you need to be an approved adopter within the last 3 months. We will have paper applications available at the event as well as our application via our website! We hope to see you there! :)*

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.
The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!
The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.
Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.
