Fig is one of the friendliest bunnies we have ever had at the Shelter. He has the cutest face and very unique markings. He loves to be petted and receive attention. When he’s out of his cage, he will follow you around like a dog. He’s very interested in his surroundings and loves to explore. He is only a year old and needs a new home because his owner was no longer able to care for him. He loves his salads and hopping around doing binkies. His litter box habits are very good, and we expect them to improve further once he adjusts to eating more hay, which wasn't part of his diet before he came into our care.
Rabbits are active, gentle pets that are happiest and healthiest when they have a large clean cage, lots of play time out of their cage, and plenty of fresh hay and veggies daily. All of the Medfield Shelter's bunnies are indoor pets and would not do well outside in a hutch. If you are interested in adopting a rabbit from our shelter, please fill out our adoption application on medfieldshelter.com/adopt

More about this shelter
The Medfield Animal Shelter's mission is to rescue lost or abandoned animals and provide for their comfort and safety until they are reunited with their owners or placed in new homes. We are a no-kill shelter, which means no pet will ever be euthanized because it has run out of time to find a home. We are committed to ending the overpopulation of pets that results in an estimated 5 million companion pets being euthanized at shelters in the U.S. every year, therefore all cats, rabbits and dogs adopted from us are spayed and neutered prior to adoption. We also sponsor a low cost spay/neuter clinic for cats at our shelter once a month.
