My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abandoned in a box by the side of a road, Sketchbook is a cosmic gift of a guy who keeps on giving. A schnauzer-ish mutt in a snazzy fur coat, he’s kind, loving and very easy-going. He’s fine with other dogs and likes a trot outside, where he navigates nicely despite some vision impairment. He can’t do stairs, but he can raise your spirits just by taking a seat next to you on the couch. Crunch the numbers; the upside is undeniable. If you’re ready to love a lover, visit Sketch today.

Here's some notes from his foster:

Sketchbook is such a sweet boy who spends most of his day doodling in the margins about finding his future family! He’s very easygoing and sleeps the vast majority of the day, but now that he’s settling in, he’s starting to be awake more and despite being blind, tries to climb up into my lap when I get home from work. He’s been very tolerant of our other dogs, even when they try to climb into bed with him. He hasn’t had a single accident in the house. I imagine he would be fine with kids and cats too.

We carry him out to go potty a few times a day and he holds it overnight, sleeping on a big cozy bed and never makes a peep. He’s truly the easiest foster we’ve ever had! He’s also a great eater, but I do mix water into his food because he doesn’t get up to drink much and he happily laps it all up as soon as he smells food! For the family looking for the ultimate binge watching bestie, Sketchbook is your guy!
