It breaks my heart to write this add. We love William so very much. He is an absolutely lovely cat. He came to our backyard and decided not to leave. We brought him inside and kept him in our spare room. He loves to cuddle, sit on your lap, play. The problem is that we have been trying daily for the past 9 months under the guidance of a cat behavioral expert to introduce him to our two other resident cats. It has been impossible to get them to tolerate each other in the same room. Our other cats are older than him (he is probably around 2-3 years old) and they are very territorial. We tried everything we could to keep him.
William is a very special cat. Whoever adopts him will have a loving buddy for life. I wish he could stay with us, but I don't think it is fair to him to be living in a spare room and to our other cats to be in such a high stress situation. They all deserve better. He will do amazingly in a single cat home. I think he would be fine if introduced to a kitten.
