Introducing Allison (or Ally for short), and just like her clone namesake from the TV series “Orphan Black,” Allison is a little busybody. Not much gets past this fun-loving feline! Found at a cabin in Quebec, Allison was fortunate enough to make the trek to Ontario thanks to a kind-hearted rescuer who realized that the great outdoors, especially in wintertime, was no place for a young litter of kittens. Allison and her two siblings (Rusty and Cosima) are now safe and warm in the care of EHS.
ABOUT ALLISON
- In foster - Kittens, like Allison, have lots of energy! - Allison is still “in training” for her interactions with humans, but her foster parent reports that she is making steady progress. She will start to purr when picked up and held by someone that she trusts! - Affectionate Allison and her siblings are playful with each other, and are curious to explore their space at their foster home. - Allison is not a fan of unexpected or fast movements, as they make her nervous. - Food is a good distraction! All three kittens will accept pets while eating, and they seem to prefer when their foster parent joins them for mealtime. - Once they have deemed you as trustworthy, all members of this kitten trio will accept an invitation to sit on a warm and cozy lap and will compete with each other for the best spot! - When it is time to rest up, these adorable kittens love to cuddle--and purr (like a well-oiled machine) together. - Allison is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
ALLISON’S IDEAL HOME
- It is important that Allison either go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat in residence, or be adopted with one of her siblings or another compatible EHS cat. - Allison may need some time to adjust to the new people in her life, so a patient adopter would be best. - Kittens require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their family.
