My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Homer. I am available to adopt—currently staying with a foster—my adoption is sponsored.

Homer is an easy-going Shepherd mix, who is just as happy to play with other social dogs as he is to cuddle on the couch with the family. He would enjoy a fully fenced yard and should not be left outside unsupervised.

Send an email to frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org for more information or to set up a meet & greet with an animal staying with a foster. Stop by the shelter during regular business hours to visit available pets. AVHS is open 6 days a week 11am-6pm, closed Sundays, adoptions wrap up at 5:30pm each day.

Please note: Pet descriptions are based on what we`ve observed or might expect. Pets may behave differently in a home, so we recommend slow introductions and training support. Ask about the `3-3-3 rule` when bringing home a new pet.
