My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Agatha was found as a stray, the proud mother of 3 kittens! Her kittens are all grown up and now Agatha is looking for her forever home. Though she is pretty shy/scared, she is warming up to people and really loving the indoor life.

A perfect home for Agatha would be a quiet home with another cat (or cats), and a patient adopter who has the time to let her slowly come out of her shell. Agatha is learning to love people, but she really loves cats! She follows my 5 year old resident cat around and is very happy whenever he is nearby. I think she finds another cat's presence calming. So, if your cat is looking for a friend, look no further!

Agatha is still very alert and timid as she gets used to people, yet she is very happy to hang out nearby. Her energy is currently on the lower end, except for when she is playing with her wand toys. Agatha enjoys food and treats, most of all! While she is shy and sometimes hides, she almost always emerges to eat treats out of your hand. She especially loves the lickable treats (like Churus). She also loves her scratch pad (both to scratch and to lounge on).

While Agatha will need some extra time and care, she is so worth it! She is a really sweet girl and I think she will make a wonderful companion, once she feels safe and secure.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our process generally starts with an application for a dog or cat. Once we have reviewed your application, we arrange a time that works for you to come out and see the animal you are interested in. If it's a match, you will fill out an adoption contract and then you'll receive medical records, your pet's microchip information, their certificate of spay/neutering, rabies certificate and, finally, your new animal companion. Our adoption fee goes toward the animal's spay/neuter procedure, vaccinations, microchipping, de-worming, and flea and tick treatment.
