DOG'S DESCRIPTION:    Meet Tyson — Our Resilient, Goofy Boxer Boy!
     At just over a year old, Tyson has already lived a lifetime of highs and lows. He found himself in a shelter in heartbreaking condition — skinny, scared, and unsure of the world. Thankfully, an amazing Alabama rescue stepped in and gave him the second chance he deserved. With love, good food, and proper care, Tyson bounced back beautifully. ‍ Now? This boy is healthy, happy, and ready to love BIG. 
     What we know about Tyson:
    Great with other dogs
      Graduate of nose-work classes (and he absolutely excels at it!)
      He LOVES attending class and using that smart boxer brain
      Sweet, affectionate, goofy, and eager to please
     Despite all his wonderful qualities, Tyson just hasn’t found his match in the South…so he’s heading to Virginia, tail wagging, hoping that his forever family is waiting just around the corner. Tyson is ready for a family who’ll cherish him and give him a home with playmates or adventures. Tyson would love to find someone who appreciates his smarts and silly personality and who is up for plenty of walks, sniffs, and cuddle time.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
