My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pheonix is a beautiful 6 year old Black Mouth Cur. She is housebroken and well behaved in the home. She can be anxious and would do best in a home without small children - children 5+ would be best. She is dog and cat friendly. Pheonix can be shy (but not reactive) with new people and her ideal adopter would be calm, patient and willing to do a few extra meetings before taking her home so she is comfortable.

Pheonix is spayed and current on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $150 and she receives: free dog training support for life (including our fun group classes!), 30 days of health insurance through MetLife for pets and a free bath, nail trim and ear cleaning from our friends at Scenthound.

Please fill out an application so we can get to know you better and a member of our team will reach out to answer questions. We do NOT house dogs at our office, all of our dogs live with volunteer foster families in the community so appointments are required to meet and adopt.

More about this rescue

Happy Trails Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue based in Central Florida. Established in 2013, we have successfully placed over 200 dogs. As we continue to grow, we have opened our Community Resource Center in 2019 and provide training, education, grooming events, and a food pantry for those in need in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Thanks to our training scholarships, we have helped over 100 rescue dogs have continued success in their furever home.
