🌟 Introducing Chico 🌟
The sweetest, sassiest senior who deserves his forever happy ending
Chico is a 10-year-old (turning 11 in February) little gentleman weighing in at 13 pounds, and though he’s a “mix of sorts,” he’s 100% charm.
This poor guy has seen more than his share of disappointments. At some point in his past, he broke his back leg and his owner never treated it—so today the leg is limp. But don’t let that fool you: this boy can MOVE. We completed X-rays to confirm the limb didn’t need removal, and he’s all set. He also received a fresh dental while in our care!
Chico’s journey has been rough:
At age 6, his owner passed away, and the family wanted to euthanize him. Thankfully, their vet stepped in and placed him with a new owner. Years later, that owner transitioned into assisted living, leaving Chico once again without a home—until now.
Despite everything, Chico remains gentle, loving, patient, and wonderful with dogs of all sizes.
• Uses pee pads when you’re not home
• Goes outside when you are
• Excellent in the car
• And his only demand? MANDATORY belly rubs. He won’t ask—he will flop dramatically onto his back and insist. Every. Single. Time.
