My name is Shaggy!

Hello, my name is Shaggy, and I’m a mini Poodle full of personality, charm, and more curls than you can count! I’m a young adult, just under 20 pounds, with dark black curly hair so fluffy that sometimes my eyes blend right in. I’m a playful little guy, bursting with energy, always ready for fun, and eager to make new friends.
I’ve done really well with other dogs, and I love saying hello to everyone I meet. I’m social, silly, and always excited to be part of whatever’s going on. I do have a high pitched bark, and I can get a little extra when I’m excited, but with some guidance I can learn when to use my voice. Basic training would be wonderful for me, not only to help me learn my manners but also because it would be a great bonding experience for my new person.
I’ll need a dedicated person who can keep me busy, help me with training, and make sure I’m groomed when my curls get a little too wild. In return, I’ll give you my whole heart, endless enthusiasm, and joyful greetings every time you walk in the door.
